We are in the planning stages of scheduling more training's Mid- July.  Please email with your interest attending the next scheduled training's.  Please indicate your location and how many folks you would like to attend.  Please note we have to limit 3 people per agency.

California Alliance of Child and Family Services will be offering a series of regional trainings for group home providers. This training is designed to provide information which will assist these organizations in writing the mental health components of their Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) DSS application and STRTP Mental Health Program application.

The agenda for the four hour training includes:

      Specialty Mental Health Services in Child Welfare Settings

     “Traditional” vs “Specialty” Mental Health Services (SMHS)

     Mental Health “Rehab Option”

     Child Welfare Focused MH Services

      Integrating SMHS into:

     Individual Care Plans

     Program Operations

      Determining Which Services to Provide

      Arranging for MH Services You Do Not Provide

      Behavioral Health Components of DSS Application

      Mental Health Program Approval Application

      Don’ts and Do’s
