The 2014 EDGY Conference will be held Nov. 14 at Sportsman’s
Lounge in Studio City, Calif., and organizers are looking for workshop
proposals. EDGY is a one-day conference, presented by Alliance-member agency Penny Lane Centers, dedicated to evolving practices for professionals who work with
GLBTQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning) youth and families.
Each year Penny Lane strives to bring together a variety of
experts to share their knowledge and experiences working in this field. EDGY
provides an opportunity for government agencies, social service providers,
mental health professionals, and families to learn how to create a supportive
environment for youth and families through initiatives, education and

· All workshops will be 45 minutes of presentation with 15 minutes of Q&A to
