Children’s Institute’s 9th Annual Fatherhood Solution Conference Strengthening Relationships Between Fathers and Their At-Risk Children is scheduled for June 17, 2016, at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Join nationally recognized experts and your colleagues for a daylong exploration of the most important issues related to fatherhood and discover new ways to build and strengthen relationships between fathers and their children.

Those that should attend include community service providers, policy advocates, government representatives, mental health professionals, public health professionals and concerned community members.

Speakers include:

  • Dan Siegel – Clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine and the founding co-director of the Mindful Awareness Research Center
  • Father Greg Boyle – Executive Director, Homeboy Industries
  • Judge Michael Nash – Executive Director of the County's Office of Child Protection
  • California State Assemblymember Mike Gipson
  • Arnold Chandler – Policy Analyst, PolicyLink
  • Pastor Horacio Jones – Founder of Family Bible Fellowship and the Tri Cities Community Development Center
