California Alliance of Child and Family Services will be offering a series of regional trainings for group home providers. This training is designed to provide information which will assist these organizations in writing the mental health components of their Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) DSS application and STRTP Mental Health Program application.

Mental Health Components for Children’s Residential Programs

Friday, July 14, 2017: San Bernardino County Building, San Bernardino

Registration is now open for the Mental Health Components for Children's Residential Program training on Friday, July 14, 2017 at San Bernardino County Building located at 780 E. Gilbert Street, Hollywood Room, San Bernardino, CA  92415, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

 

Registration Fee:

California Alliance Members - $35

Non-Members - $125

 

California Alliance of Child and Family Services will be offering a series of regional trainings for group home providers. This training is designed to provide information which will assist these organizations in writing the mental health components of their Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) DSS application and STRTP Mental Health Program application.

The agenda for the four hour training includes:

•      Specialty Mental Health Services in Child Welfare Settings

–     “Traditional” vs “Specialty” Mental Health Services (SMHS)

–     Mental Health “Rehab Option”

–     Child Welfare Focused MH Services

•      Integrating SMHS into:

–     Individual Care Plans

–     Program Operations

•      Determining Which Services to Provide

•      Arranging for MH Services You Do Not Provide

•      Behavioral Health Components of DSS Application

•      Mental Health Program Approval Application

•      Don’ts and Do’s 

 

Remember, request for refunds must be received in writing no later than Wednesday, July 12, 2017.  Please email your request to Debbie Clore-Myers at dcmyers@cacfs.org. After 7/12/2017, the full registration fee will be forfeited.  No-shows will not receive a refund.
