Alliance-member agency Hathaway-Sycamores will offer a day-long, intensive workshop intended to provide a primer on Implementation Science (IS) and evidence-based practice (EBP) Sustainability Planning, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Hathaway-Sycamores in Pasadena.

Entitled “Evidence Based Practice Sustainability Workshop: Implementation Science Principles in Community Mental Health,” the workshop will include:
 A review of what lessons from IS are most relevant to EBP in Community Mental Health & Child Welfare contexts;
 Discussion of the core aspects of implementation plans that will support fidelity of practices, integration with existing systems and workflows, and fiscal sustainability;
 Group and individual work to develop plans and tools to
pro-mote sustainability and integrate IS principles;
 FLASHDRIVES stocked with templates of tools and documents to support EBP!
 Fiscal sustainability calculators for EBP budgeting;
 Trackers to help trainees, supervisors and managers stay on the same page about training progress;
 Letter templates for welcoming incoming staff, contracting for participation in trainings, and celebrating certification completion; and
 Workflow maps of EBP training documentation.
The workshop intended for program managers or administrators, although all roles are welcome.
