Internationally Renowned Clinician and Trainer, Dr. Ken Hardy, Will Present Full-Day Session at Alliance Executives' Fall Conference

Dr. Ken Hardy will lead a plenary and several sessions during the first day of the California Alliance Executives' Fall Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019. Your clinician staff in particular may want to make special arrangements to attend these sessions! The full conference is scheduled for Sept. 3-6, 2019, at the J.W. Marriott Desert Springs Resort.

Dr. Hardy is an internationally recognized clinician, author and trainer. He is also the director of the Eikenberg Institute for Relationships in New York City where he maintains a private practice specializing in working with traumatized and oppressed populations. Dr. Hardy is the former director of the Center for Children, Families, and Trauma at the Ackerman Institute in New York City, and formerly served on the faculty at Syracuse University where he held numerous positions including Director of Clinical Training and Research, as well as Chairperson of the Department of Child and Family Studies. He has won considerable acclaim for the contributions that his publications and videotapes have made toward challenging our society to think critically about the hidden but significant connections that often exist between trauma and issues of oppression.

Dr, Hardy will first lead a plenary from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, entitled Understanding Sociocultural Trauma and How We Help Youth Heal.

Then, attendees have the choice of staying for other plenary speakers that morning and workshops that afternoon, or attend four workshops lead by Dr. Hardy at 10:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30, 2:00-4:00 and 4:30 -5:30.  The details about each of those workshops is outlined on the agenda at this LINK.
