National Council for Behavioral Health partners with the Alliance to offer dual membership

Beginning in September 2019, California Alliance members will also be National Council members. The National Council for Behavioral Health is the unifying voice of America’s health care organizations that deliver mental health and addictions treatment and services. Together with 3,000 member organizations serving over 10 million adults, children and families living with mental illnesses and addictions, the National Council is committed to all Americans having access to comprehensive, high-quality care that affords every opportunity for recovery.

This benefit is an opportunity for Alliance members to get up to date information on advocacy efforts, public policy and other national updates from the National Council. Ordinarily a $4,270 annual membership for organizations, this partnership will allow Alliance members to get email updates, participate in national Hill Day events, attend National Council conferences at a discounted rate, and take advantage of many other member benefits.

Chuck Ingoglia, the incoming President and CEO of the National Council, will be speaking at our September conference and providing us with national updates that impact our members providing mental health and addictions services.
