I have a degree in Psychology and years of work experience in multiple social service and mental health settings including psychiatric facilities, schools, and housing agencies. My work in case management expanded my awareness of resources while assisting diverse populations whose needs included affordable housing, mental health services, primary care, employment and much more.
As the daughter of an immigrant and a first-generation college graduate, I am intimately familiar with the obstacles and disparities that many individuals encounter, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.
I work collaboratively with my community to gain new and relevant resources. My unique perspective as a first-generation Latina informs my work, allowing me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds to effectively advocate for their needs.
I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to serve my community. I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those I work with.
Through empathy, collaboration, and advocacy, I strive to empower individuals to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
