Roxanna Shabahang earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and her Master of Public Health from the University of Southern California through the university’s progressive degree program. She also holds a minor in Health Policy. Roxanna is deeply committed to advancing health equity by bridging systems-level policy with community-based interventions.
Her multidisciplinary experience spans the public, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors, with roles at the California Department of Public Health, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and the Southern California Association of Governments. She has led and supported initiatives focused on food access, youth health and wellness, and the integration of social determinants of health into care delivery. Roxanna has also contributed to published research on disaster resilience in children and brings strong competencies in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and community health strategy.
