My name is Yatin Akbari, I have 18 Years of experience in EDI and Implementation of EDI software, helping organizations overcome EDI impediments. I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems. I started out as an HR benefit coordinator and worked my way to leading EDI operations and Implementation teams for many different organizations. I have 7 years of experience in behavioral health implementing adjudication to EDI transactions, for Medi-Caid and Medicare. 

For my most recent job, I was responsible for improving our legacy system with newer technology and working with various business partners to build reports for the governing agency. I was responsible for overseeing EDI Operations, EDI implementation, Claims Reporting, HEDIS Reporting, and CMS interoperability. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, traveling, and building tech gadgets.
