Francisco Valverde

Community Wellness Trainer

Francisco Valverde is a passionate advocate for youth and mental health equity, with a strong background in program leadership, college access, and wellness education. In his previous role as a Program Director at a nonprofit serving young men of color, Francisco led initiatives that bridged mental health support with educational opportunity, focusing on holistic development for first-generation students. His experience spans direct service, community-based mentorship, and training professionals to more effectively support youth in culturally responsive ways.

A first-generation college graduate, Francisco holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neurobiology from the University of California, Davis. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of San Francisco. His overarching goal is to help serve underserved communities by offering care that is culturally responsive, empowering, and grounded in both clinical insight and educational equity. Francisco is especially passionate about destigmatizing mental health for men and creating spaces where full emotional expression is not only welcomed, but celebrated.
