Homar Hernandez

Homar brings a strong commitment to equity, trauma-informed care, and community-centered work to his role as Program Analyst. With years of experience supporting youth and families across California, he works to strengthen systems of care through collaboration, advocacy, and capacity-building.

His background includes providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed services in community-based settings, where he partnered with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and behavioral success for youth. He also brings experience from AmeriCorps service and legislative studies with the Colorado General Assembly.

A proud bilingual professional (Spanish and English), Homar is passionate about building inclusive systems that reflect the voices of those most impacted. Outside of work, he continues his education and stays engaged in his community through volunteer service.
