MJ Dimaano (they/them) is the Operations and Events Assistant for the California Alliance of Child and Family Services, where they support the planning and execution of statewide conferences and events. A first-generation Filipino American, MJ contributes to both the logistical and creative aspects of event coordination, with interest in designing engaging, participant-centered conference experiences. They are also actively involved in the development of the Alliance’s first youth scholarship program, an initiative aimed at increasing access, inclusion, and youth voice within the field of child and family services. Outside of their professional work, MJ enjoys playing games online, discovering new artists, and listening to live music.
