
Trevor Nelson
Legislative and Administrative Associate
Trevor Nelson (He/Him) is the Legislative and Administrative Coordinator for the California Alliance of Child and Family Services. Prior to joining the Alliance, Trevor worked as a scheduler and legislative aide with the California State Assembly where he focused on legislation regarding health, human services, environmental quality, and public safety. An advocate for Sacramento’s low-income communities, he also worked with the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency to prevent evictions during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Trevor holds a degree in Criminal Justice and Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno where he served as his fraternity’s Community Service Chair.
In his free time, Trevor enjoys playing tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons, hosting movie nights, participating in Sacramento’s trivia scene with his team, or advocating for social justice causes in the Sacramento area.
